EnCompass Program kick-starts arts careers

Through Carclew, up to 13 young South Australians were offered the opportunity to break into the arts industry through a new training initiative EnCompass: a training program for working in arts administration.

Program participants successfully gained a Certificate III in Arts Administration, achieved through TAFE studies, and had an opportunity to undertake a unique on-the-job volunteer work experience placement in an arts organisation in 2011.

EnCompass is funded through a joint initiative by the Commonwealth Government and South Australian Government under the Productivity Places Program.
